Dr. Mohssen Moridi
Mohssen Moridi received the master’s and Ph.D. degrees in microtechnology from École Poly-technique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland. After finishing his PhD he had several research positions in Switzerland. in 2016 he moved to Austria as a head of Microsystem division at CTR AG to establish a MEMS department and to manage a new cleanroom dedicated to R&D. Since 2019 he is part of Silicon Austria Labs as head of Microsystem research unit. As director he is currently managing more than 30 researchers with it main focus on Piezo and Photonic MEMS for emerging applications. He has more than 20 years of experience in development of MEMS devices.

In this presentation the vision of SAL to serve the European MEMS community as the centre of excellence for joint development of MEMS devices by providing innovative solution and access to cutting edge cleanroom infrastructure with a focus on advanced piezo thin film technology for industrial deployment and for More than Moore applications will be presented.
