  • 简介

Ando Feyh received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University after a Physics Diploma degree at Stuttgart University.

He started his career at Bosch in 2002 within Corporate Research and Advance Engineering. Concentrating in the field of microsystems, he worked on

integration and miniaturization of MEMS sensors, in development and in project management positions.

Between 2010 and 2014 he was an expat in the Silicon Valley in Palo Alto, leading different MEMS projects and an engineering group.

2014 he joined the Bosch internal IoT startup Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions, first responsible for the Advance Engineering and System Architecture group,

later as Head of Engineering. Mid 2018 he was nominated Head of Technical Responsibility / CTO, responsible for engineering, project management and product management of IoT devices.

Since mid 2021 he is focusing on MEMS Strategy Management, New Business and M&A projects within the Automotive Electronics sensor division.

Automotive MEMS: Overview and developments

MEMS sensors occupy a key role in a broad range of automotive applications, their importance being further enhanced by proliferation of autonomous driving systems: As frequent driving situations occur, where not all implemented data gathering functions are available, inertial sensors with highest performance are critical, in order to provide robust system operation at all times.

A high degree of innovation is required to continuously push the boundaries and improve different sensor performance parameters. In order to succeed, innovations are needed on all engineering domains, from system architecture to packaging.

In his presentation, Dr. Ando Feyh (MEMS Strategy Management, New Business and M&A), will share insights and cover some recent developments in the field of MEMS: on the processing side, as well as on the packaging side and show their resulting impact on improving sensor performance.

Thomas Block has over 15 years of experience working in Product Management. He received his PhD in Solid State Chemistry from University of Mainz, Germany and Diploma in Chemistry from Duisburg University, Germany. After his PhD he worked as Postdoctoral Fellow at the IBM Research Center in San Jose, USA, for Hitachi. Before joining Bosch Sensortec as Senior Product Manager for magnetic and environmental sensors (pressure, temperature, humidity, gas), he has held various Product and Project Management positions within the Semiconductor and Photovoltaic industry in companies like Bosch, Schott and Heraeus.
